Graduation

Graduation, May 20, 2011!

What to wear: Confirmation, May Procession, Graduation:

  • Girls and boys will follow the guidelines as set by the Bishop for Confirmation.
  • The same guidelines apply for May Procession and Graduation.
  • Girls may wear the same dress for all three events.
  • The only exception is that boys do not need to wear a jacket for May Procession, but they DO wear it for Graduation.
  • Dresses for May Procession and Graduation must follow the same guidelines as you received for Confirmation. Light colors (like pastels), light colored small-styled print; no short (mini) dresses or dresses without fully covered shoulders. No tank-top style dresses. No leggings under short dresses. Dresses should not be so thin that undergarments are visible under stage lights. Please wear a slip if needed.
  • Girls should wear dresses and shoes that are appropriate for the occasion: please, parents help us with this. We want our students to look appropriate and be comfortable. This is their time to shine! Our focus is to celebrate your child’s achievements and their entry into young adulthood. Inappropriate clothing detracts from that.
