Dear parents,

Its hard to believe that Valentine’s Day is almost here.  On Tuesday the kids will make a valentine bag and then they will pass out their valentines to their friends.  They will also enjoy a valentine treat from me.  Please make sure your child brings a valentine for each child in our class. 

Next week is a short week.   Friday, February 17th and Monday, February 20st are school holidays.  There will be no Escape on those days.  Spelling words are due on Thursday as usual and we will have our spelling test on Thursday too. Im sure you noticed that our spelling words increased last week.  We will now have 12 spelling words each week.  The spelling words for next week are:

now, green, sun, frog, toad, will, saw, law, claw, yawn, yellow, pink,

and the bonus sentence is     Who was your valentine?
