Weekly Notes:
- FIELD TRIP REMINDERS: 3rd grade will be leaving for the Frist Art Museum at 9:30. All parents who plan to go need to meet us there at 10 am. We will tour the museum for about 1 hr and 45 mins. We are scheduled to be at the Spaghetti Factory at noon. We are very excited about our last trip, and look forward to having some parents on hand too! We will back at school around 1:30.
- Tomorrow will be 3rd grade yearbook signing day! We will sign each other’s yearbooks after we get back from the field trip. Don’t forget! I will have some Autograph paper available for anyone who didn’t purchase a yearbook.
- Field Day is Thursday!!!! If you would like to help run the games in the morning from 9-11 please contact the room mom, Michelle Vetter. We need at least 2 parents for each homeroom. Don’t forget to put sunscreen on your child that day, and a hat or visor might be good too!
- As noted in the family folder, HRA is collecting canned goods for a deserving HRA family. If you can contribute in anyway please send in your donations. Also, Kindergarten is in its final days of collecting soda can pull tabs.
- Remember this week we are out of uniform. Be sure to follow the out-of-uniform guidelines in the handbook. Remember boys, no athletic shorts.
** NO TESTS THIS WEEK!!! **
This has been such a wonderful year! I am so lucky to have been blessed with a class full of great personalities, big caring hearts, and lots of intelligence!!! We have done many fun things this year and each child will forever hold a spot in my heart. It’s hard to let them go on Friday, but I know they will all do great in the future. We would not have had as successful a year without the WONDERFUL parents in 3L as well. Any time we needed donations for extra activities you were there to help out! Thanks, thanks, thanks, 3L students and parents for the terrific year!
