Religion –

We will identify the roles at Mass, and we will create our Mass Book to identify the Entrance procession and Greeting.

Reading -

This week we will read "New Hope." We will review cause and effect in our story

Vocabulary – recycling, ferried, brisk, bustling, invitation, citizens

Phonics – over, open, below, driving, using, chasing, desert, butter, button, ladder, summer, hammer, sandwich, dessert, note, taste, chase, chose, drive, safe, quite, state, wake, woke, rule, wire, separate, dance.

No reading test!

Spelling –

Words this week are:useless, clueless, jobless, shapeless, helpless, playful, hopeful, harmful, shameful, wonderful, desert, dessert, sandwich, chasing, driving.

Math –

We will have Chp. 22 Test on Monday!

We will identify cups, pints, quarts and gallons. We will identify and weigh pounds and ounces.

English/ Writing–

We will review adverbs, and adverb phrases. We will practice writing and focus on editing our work.

Handwriting –

We will write the cursive letters, x, y, and z.

Science –

We will identify the physical properties of our Sun, identify and explain what causes day and night, and identify and explain what causes the seasons to change.

Social Studies -

We will continue S.Studies after our Science unit.
