Procedures

Homework Guidelines

• Agendas will be filled out daily by the students.  Assignments will also be posted on the website.
• All homework is expected to be completed and returned on time .
• Students are responsible for making up homework missed due to absence within one week of return to school .
• Students will turn in work that is neat .
• Late HW will be accepted for a loss of 10 points per day until the following Monday morning.  After 8:00 a.m. Monday, the grade will become a zero .

Come to class prepared  

Hands feet, objects, and unkind remarks kept to yourself  

Respect others  

Imitate Christ  

Stay in your seat and on task  

Talk at the appropriate time and volume

* All school rules as stated in the Student Handbook are also expected to be followed.  This includes the HRA Bully Policy.

 

Consequences

•Warning-5 points off weekly conduct grade

•Silent Lunch-10 points off

•Demerit- 15 points off –A weekly conduct grade of 85% or lower earns a demerit

•Severe Clause- Call home/Visit to Principal

–3 demerits = Saturday Detention

–10 demerits = loss of all remaining field trips

- 12 demerits = Suspension

–Failure to return a demerit in one day may result in another demerit

 

Rewards

Positive behavior will earn:

–Praise

–Positive notes/phone calls

–Rewards (candy, stickers, etc.)
