Parent Volunteers

Our parent volunteers are very important to us! At parent orientation you will have the opportunity to sign up for various ways to help not only in the classroom (parent art projects, helping with parties, etc.) but also in the school in many ways (volunteering in the school clinic, helping in the library or office, helping in the dining hall, etc.) We LOVE our volunteers who help us in so many ways!

We will have one KW Room Parent chairperson with several room parent assistants, hopefully! They will be planning our class parties for Halloween and Christmas as well as helping with a KW class project for the Spring Home & School Event and other Home and School functions/fundraisers for the school during the year.

Please remember that ALL people (Moms, Dads, Grandparents or other relatives) who wish to volunteer in the classroom or school in any way must have the required, current DIOCESAN PROFILE and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORMS

completed and on file on the school office before volunteering in any way. This would include art projects, reading on your child's birthday, party participation, clinic, library & office help or any other activities which may involve the students. If you have not completed your forms and wish to do so, please contact the school office. The forms must be completed and on file ahead of time (at least 2-3 weeks) prior to the day you wish to volunteer/participate.

IT IS ALSO A SCHOOL POLICY THAT SIBLINGS MAY NOT ACCOMPANY YOU WHEN YOU ARE VOLUNTEERING IN THE SCHOOL OR CLASSROOM (so that you may give the students your full, undivided attention).

Also, we have Parent-led art projects once a month, which always are a lot of fun! The children LOVE to have you come in to do art with their class, so please consider it!
