Listed below are a few links that may be useful for yourself as a parent. Some websites are purely information based, while others are interactive and can be used with your child.

Children Now: Parenting Resources - A website that provides various resources on how to handle key challenges you may face such as talking to your children about tough topics, how to find health insurance, educational value of television shows, etc.
Family Education - A website providing parenting advice, activities for children, family games, parent message board/blog, and recipes.
Parents: The Anti-Drug - A helpful resource for information on children/adolescents' experiences with the world of technology, drugs and peer pressure.
The National Parenting Center - A website providing parenting advice through articles and messages provided by some of the world's most respected individuals in the fields of child rearing and development.
Fathers.com - The National Center for Fathering website, which provides articles, advice, encouragement, and helpful resources for fathers.
Stop Bullying - An excellent website for children, teens, parents, and educators that provides articles, videos, and various other resources to help stop bullying. The Parent specific tab addresses how to talk with your child about bullying, what to do if your child is being bullied, if your child is the bully, and how you can work with your school and community to raise awareness and help with prevention.
Committee for Children - A non-profit organization that provides programming for children on bullying, social skills, and personal safety. Specifically, the Second Step program is a curriculum that is sometimes used here at Holy Rosary with classroom guidance lessons. You can look at sample lessons on this website link.
PBS Parents - A fun website full of various resources and ideas on anything and everything! From child development information/resources, birthday party ideas, recipes and tips on health and nutrution, to videos and parenting advice, PBS Parents is a great resource!
Kid Sites - A parent's guide to the best fun and educational kid sites on the web. There is also a page with resources for you as a parent/guardian.

Net Smartz - NetSmartz is a program of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) that provides resources for children ages 5-17, parents and guardians, educators, and law enforcement to help teach children how to be safer on- and offline.
I Keep Safe - The Internet Keep Safe Coalition (iKeepSafe) was established in 2005 and aims to give parents, educators, and policymakers the information and tools which empower them to teach children the safe and healthy use of technology and the Internet.
