Procedures

  We have been working since the beginning of the year on establishing procedures to help our classroom run smoothly.  For example, when your child comes into the classroom in the morning they put their agenda on the table, turn in lunch money or other documents, unpack and hang their backpack and lunch boxes and begin centers or other morning work.  They know where their homework needs to be turned in and how to head their papers.  They know that when they are done with their classroom work, they need to work on unfinished work, read a book or take an accelerated reader test.  We also have SIXTEEN classroom helpers that aid in the smooth running of our day. 

Rules

1.  We will show respect for others and their property.

2.  We will follow directions.

3.  We will stay on task.

4.  We will do our work on time.

5.  We will raise our hands and wait to be called on.

6.  We will always do our best.

Consequences

1. Warning and No Dynamite

2. 5 minutes off of recess

3. 10 minutes off of recess

4. Silent lunch

5. Demerit

6. Principal's office
