Parent Volunteers
Our parent volunteers are very important to us! At parent orientation you had the opportunity to sign up for various ways to help not only in the classroom (parent art projects, helping with parties, etc.) but also in the school in many ways (volunteering in the school clinic, helping in the library or office, helping in the dining hall, etc.)
Our KW Room Parent chairperson for this year is Kris Boyle and her assistants are: Lisa Hare, Karin Mayes, Daniel Moran, Leslie Ohrin, Mary Oxford and Cindy Sonnier. They will be planning our class parties for Halloween (October 31st) and Christmas (December 18th) as well as helping with a KW class project for the Spring Viking Gala & Auction and other Home and School functions/fundraisers for the school.
Please remember that ALL people (Moms, Dads, Grandparents or other relatives) who wish to volunteer in the classroom or school in any way must have the required, current DIOCESAN PROFILE and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORMS
completed and on file on the school office before volunteering in any way. This would include art projects, reading on your child's birthday, party participation, clinic, library & office help or any other activities which may involve the students. If you have not completed your forms and wish to do so, please contact the school office. The forms must be completed and on file ahead of time (at least 2-3 weeks) prior to the day you wish to volunteer/participate.
IT IS ALSO A SCHOOL POLICY THAT SIBLINGS MAY NOT ACCOMPANY YOU WHEN YOU ARE VOLUNTEERING IN THE SCHOOL OR CLASSROOM (so that you may give the students your full, undivided attention).
