1.
Take
your assigned seat immediately.
2.
Listen
to and follow directions. If you need
help, wait until the class begins work to ask.
3.
Use your indoor voice
4. Work only on the specific assignment.
5. Save the assignment as directed.
6.
Be
aware of time. When class is over,
leave promptly and proceed to your next class.

Follow
the Golden Rule. "Do unto others
as you would have others do unto you."

Keep
your hands to yourself.

Show
respect for school property.

Stay
on task.
5.
Remember, rude or inconsiderate
behavior will not be tolerated at HRA!
Discipline:
The consequences vary somewhat for the grade levels. In general, minor infractions are met with a verbal warning. If the behavior is repeated and/or very distracting, the student may be asked to take time out. Silent lunch and demerit are other possible consequences. Continued or serious infractions are reported to the homeroom teacher and/or the principal.
Serious infractions must be reported to the principal immediately.
Any
behavior that interferes with the completion of the task(s) or assignments
is considered off task behavior. Off
task behavior results in reduction in the student's grade for the class.

Read
and discuss the HRA Acceptable Use Policy with your parents.
2. Go to sites recommended by teachers only.
3. Never reveal your name or facts about
yourself on the Internet.
4.
Students are forbidden to check personal email or engage in any type of internet communication that is not school supervised. However, students may to access their Gaggle
email or use the Gaggle chat program.
5.
Report any inappropriate
language, images, or sites to the teacher immediately.
6.
It
is your responsibility as an HRA student to always act with honor and to report
any violations of school policy.

Student evaluation:
1.
On
task behavior is essential. You must be working on the assignment.
2. Listen to and follow directions.
3. Learn to take proper care of the computer equipment.

Computer Classes
Students will do activities in order to learn and master the skills stipulated in the Diocesan Curriculum Guide for Technology. The objectives include competency in Windows skills, ability to identify and use hardware and software, keyboarding,
and Microsoft productivity products: Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel.
Keyboarding
is a vital skill and all students are to reach a level of competency in touch-typing. Grades four through eight will have online access to Keyboarding for Kids. This course provides excellent step by step practice.
